Details of the Job/Internship
AstraZeneca India is hiring a Legal Counsel with 10–15 years of experience to join their office in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial agreements and legal documents.
- Handle IP and non-IP litigation, including product liability, HR issues, and regulatory disputes.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel and manage legal expenses.
- Support regulatory investigations and internal compliance processes.
- Liaise with internal teams such as Compliance, Finance, Operations, and HR.
- Conduct legal training sessions and support trademark and POA activities.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact.
- Maintain effective legal document management systems.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- 10–15 years of experience in legal roles, preferably in an MNC or listed company.
- Knowledge of corporate, commercial, and IP law.
- Experience in litigation handling.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
