Details of the Job/Internship
AT&S is hiring a Legal Counsel with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join their office in Nanjangud, India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support in compliance-related matters, including compliance audits under various applicable laws.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, agreements, deeds, petitions, affidavits, MOUs, and letters to regulatory/statutory authorities.
- Active participation in litigation matters including interaction with internal stakeholders, external legal counsels/advocates, and court visits.
- Support in corporate affairs, including under the Companies Act, 2013.
- Administration of contract review and contract house databases, compliance, and litigation management tools.
Eligibility
- Academic degree in Law with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as Legal Counsel, Legal Advisor, or in a similar position.
- Functional knowledge of corporate, contract, labour, environmental, and international laws.
- Fluency in written and verbal communication in English and Kannada.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Good interpersonal skills.
