Details of the Job/Internship
Azurity Pharmaceuticals is hiring a Legal Counsel with 0-2 years of experience to support its contract management platform, assist with global agreement reviews and negotiations, and provide litigation support in coordination with international legal teams at their Hyderabad office.
Role and Responsibilities
Stakeholder Management:
- Monitor and prioritize tasks.
- Understand business requirements and provide regular updates.
- Attend meetings and proactively identify legal risks.
- Ensure timely legal compliance and transaction support.
- Track key dates and coordinate with legal team members.
Contracts:
- Review and negotiate domestic and international contracts, CDAs, Amendments, SOWs, and Change Orders.
- Ensure risk mitigation and protection of confidential and commercial interests.
- Guide stakeholders on contract terms and resolve completion issues.
- Format documents and manage legal contract folders.
- Report on legal department metrics.
Contract Lifecycle Management Platform:
- Manage contract lifecycle using Ironclad.
- Support contract creation and review requests.
- Manage renewals, amendments, and metadata tagging.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for execution through DocuSign.
- Act as liaison for contract inquiries and ensure efficient platform use.
General Duties:
- Identify legal issues and assess risk.
- Respond to legal information and document requests.
- Prepare reports and presentations.
- Support legal department with ad-hoc projects and general duties.
Eligibility
- LL.B from a reputed university.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience supporting an in-house legal department.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office suite; experience with DocuSign is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with global teams.
- Ability to independently solve problems and make decisions.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team environment.
- Tech-savvy and adaptable to new tools.
Salary/Stipend
