Beiersdorf is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 3 to 6 years to join their office in England.
Role and Responsibilities
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating all types of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements regarding products and services as well as sales/distribution.
- Functioning as a business partner for all business functions and being the key contact for the procurement department.
- Providing legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on various commercial matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk management strategies.
- Supporting the Director Legal & Compliance Northern Europe in implementing the Beiersdorf Compliance Program, e. g. revised guidelines, processes, and training material.
- Executing the Beiersdorf Compliance training program.
- Assist in developing and implementing company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Beiersdorf’s Corporate Legal Affairs functions at headquarters (Center of Excellence) and other in-house lawyers across Europe.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations concerning the UK.
Eligibility
- Experienced UK-qualified lawyer
- 3-6 years post-qualification experience, preferably in-house or within a law firm.
- Knowledge in drafting commercial contracts, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in IP and consumer protection law is a plus.
- Proactive, structured, and independent working style
- Hands-on with problem-solving/can-do attitude
- Digital mindset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate and communicate complex legal matters clearly and effectively to non-legal stakeholders.
- Team player.
Salary/Stipend
