Details of the Job/Internship

Beiersdorf is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 3 to 6 years to join their office in England.

Role and Responsibilities

• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating all types of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements regarding products and services as well as sales/distribution.
• Functioning as a business partner for all business functions and being the key contact for the procurement department.
• Providing legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on various commercial matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk management strategies.
• Supporting the Director Legal & Compliance Northern Europe in implementing the Beiersdorf Compliance Program, e. g. revised guidelines, processes, and training material.
• Executing the Beiersdorf Compliance training program.
• Assist in developing and implementing company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Beiersdorf’s Corporate Legal Affairs functions at headquarters (Center of Excellence) and other in-house lawyers across Europe.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations concerning the UK. 

Eligibility

• Experienced UK-qualified lawyer
• 3-6 years post-qualification experience, preferably in-house or within a law firm.
• Knowledge in drafting commercial contracts, with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience in IP and consumer protection law is a plus.
• Proactive, structured, and independent working style
• Hands-on with problem-solving/can-do attitude
• Digital mindset.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate and communicate complex legal matters clearly and effectively to non-legal stakeholders.
• Team player. 

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
