Details of the Job/Internship

Biological E. Limited is hiring a Legal Counsel with 5–7 years of experience to join their in-house legal team in Hyderabad.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate supply, distribution, licensing, procurement, joint venture, R&D, and confidentiality agreements.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, corporate, labour, and data protection regulations.
• Handle disputes, regulatory investigations, and litigation with external counsel.
• Draft responses to legal notices and regulator communications.
• Conduct legal research and advise on evolving laws and business impact.
• Support M&A, strategic partnerships, and cross-border transactions.
• Partner with internal teams including procurement, R&D, sales, HR, and operations.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognised university.
• 5–7 years of PQE in a law firm or in-house role, preferably in pharma, biotech, healthcare, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of commercial law, contracts, regulatory frameworks, and corporate governance.
• Experience handling complex agreements and compliance matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Added requirement: 5+ years of IP experience and 5+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
