Details of the Job/Internship
BLJ Tech Geeks is hiring for the position of Legal Counsel to join their office in Gurgaon.
Role and Responsibilities
- General corporate advisory and structuring.
- Transaction support and advisory on cross-border transactional issues while adhering to FEMA, RBI and FDI regulations.
- Assisting in fundraise, review and negotiation of NDAs, term sheet and transaction documents such as SPA, SSA, SHA.
- Managing due diligences.
- Collaborating, communicating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contract management: negotiation and closure of all agreements including those on content, marketing, and other services agreements.
- Product related advisory in relation to consumer protection law, gaming laws, content, AI, fintech regulation, IT intermediary regulation.
- Managing the local licensing requirements of the corporate offices in India.
- Supporting company secretarial and tax compliance of the Indian offices.
- Supporting company secretarial and tax compliance of the Singapore office.
- Advisory in relation to stock compensation. ESOP and cap table management alongside the Finance team.
