Details of the Job/Internship
Bureau is hiring a Legal Counsel with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including SaaS, data protection, reseller, partnership, and vendor agreements.
- Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on operational matters, contract structuring, and risk mitigation.
- Advise on employment law, intellectual property, and product-related legal matters.
- Liaise with external counsel and manage internal workflows.
- Maintain contract and legal trackers, MIS, and documentation systems.
- Conduct legal research on evolving laws and regulations.
- Participate in legal projects and support process improvements.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognised law school in India with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in a start-up, reg-tech, fintech, bank, or MNC. Strong background in commercial and employment law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with productivity and AI-based tools.
- High integrity and accountability. Ability to work cross-functionally and independently.
