Details of the Job/Internship
Bureau is a Legal Counsel with experience of 6 to 8 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the management of all legal documents with Clients and Vendors or any other third parties on behalf of the Bureau.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders for end-to-end client onboarding and contract management can be added as a responsibility.
- You will manage the entire contract/legal lifecycle and be in charge of the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool to optimize its benefits across the organizations and a single source of truth.
- You shall coordinate & collaborate for legal compliance of company-wide contracts and work closely with external legal counsel wherever necessary.
- You will advise on contract status, legal risks, and liabilities of different transactions and ensure that all types of contracts are executed within reasonable TAT.
- You will work on devising risk mitigation strategies for conducting business in India/globally and create internal legal policies and playbooks.
- You will advise on data privacy and cybersecurity issues affecting the Company globally. You will work with the management (including the data protection officer) on new developments in the data protection laws and ensure that the Company complies with global data regulations and best practices.
- Advising the company on various aspects of company law/SEBI/FEMA/ DPDP matters to comply with the respective acts/laws.
- You would need to vet contracts , NDAs / MSAs for all focussed markets globally.
Eligibility
- LL.B/LL.M degree from a reputed institution.
- 6-8 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Has vetted, drafted, and negotiated commercial contracts- including but not limited to MSA, NDA, SaaS, and EULA.
- Hold command over data privacy and technology laws, corporate laws, and intellectual property laws amongst others.
- Great negotiation and interpretation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to take end-to-end ownership and ensure closure of all legal matters.
