Details of the Job/Internship

Calpion Inc. is hiring a Contract Manager – Legal Counsel with 5–6 years of experience to join their office in Bangalore.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SoWs, NDAs, SaaS/PaaS agreements, DPAs, vendor contracts, and other commercial documents.
• Ensure all contracts comply with internal policies, corporate standards, and data protection requirements.
• Manage the entire contract lifecycle including initiation, negotiation, execution, renewal, and termination.
• Maintain contract trackers and documentation to ensure audit readiness.
• Act as the primary legal contact for the Sales team and coordinate with Delivery, Finance, Procurement, and IT.
• Collaborate with U.S. attorneys on cross-border legal matters.
• Review vendor agreements and support RFP processes.
• Conduct legal due diligence and risk assessments for vendor onboarding and property acquisitions.
• Provide legal guidance for contract disputes and policy updates.
• Support statutory compliance and maintain MIS reports.
• Advise HR on legal matters related to employee data privacy and internal investigations.

Eligibility

• BA LLB from a recognized university (CS from ICSI preferred).
• 5–6 years of experience in contract management, corporate/commercial law, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of data protection requirements and privacy-related contractual clauses.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
