Details of the Job/Internship
Check Point Software Technologies is hiring a Legal Counsel to join their office in Bengaluru. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of agreements and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and HR, for the APAC region.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of the contracting cycle for sales, procurement, and other agreements.
- Negotiate both standard and customer-specific contracts with distributors, vendors, and partners.
- Collaborate with local business leaders to advise on legal risks and issues related to sales, purchasing, HR, product, corporate, and dispute resolution matters.
Eligibility
- Qualified licensed lawyer with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with standard contract terms and conditions for sales of products and software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong contract development and negotiation skills.
- Prior experience advising technology companies is a plus.
- Exposure to APAC jurisdictions such as ANZ, Greater China, South-East Asia, Japan, and Korea is an advantage.
