Details of the Job/Internship

Cialfo is hiring a Legal Counsel in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The role requires 3-6 years of experience in corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance, with an understanding of SaaS in an international business.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and review customer contracts, vendor agreements, and employment contracts, ensuring they meet legal requirements and protecting the company's interests.
• Assist in negotiations of contracts and agreements with customers and vendors.
• Advise on legal matters related to employee issues, including compliance with labor laws and dispute resolution.
• Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes that affect the company's operations, including data protection and privacy laws, including but not limited to India.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide guidance to management on legal issues related to the company's operations in various business markets such as Singapore, India, US, Europe, and China.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders such as product development, marketing, and finance teams.
• Assist with other legal matters as required by the company.

Eligibility

• Law degree from an accredited institution.
• Admitted to practice in India.
• 3-6 years of experience in corporate law, contract law, and/or regulatory compliance with an understanding of software-as-a-service as an international business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prior experience in a similar set up.
