Details of the Job/Internship
Clariant is hiring a Legal Counsel with 10+ years of experience to join its office in Airoli, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial and business agreements.
- Support M&A transactions, joint ventures, and cross-border legal matters.
- Ensure compliant and consistent contract management as per company standards.
- Advise business units and internal functions on legal matters.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties for contract execution.
- Manage litigation with external counsel and ensure timely filings.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess business impact.
- Identify legal and commercial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law from a reputed university.
- Minimum 10+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in law firms and in-house corporate roles preferred.
- Strong expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and litigation support.
- Knowledge of antitrust law.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel.
