Details of the Job/Internship
Clariant is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with 8+ years of post-qualification experience to manage commercial contracts, NDAs, CDAs, and provide litigation support across India and global regions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and finalize commercial contracts for India and international operations.
- Manage end-to-end execution of CDAs and NDAs across geographies.
- Ensure compliance and consistency in agreement management per legal and organizational standards.
- Advise business units and draft templates for commercial agreements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external parties for timely contract execution.
- Collaborate with external counsel for litigation support and case management.
- Track regulatory updates and assess business impact.
- Propose risk mitigation strategies for projects.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) or Master of Laws (LL.M) from a reputed university.
- Minimum 8+ years of post-qualification experience combining law firm and in-house corporate roles.
- Expertise in commercial contract management; experience in manufacturing or chemical industry preferred.
- Strong drafting, reviewing, negotiation, and litigation support skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to train and guide stakeholders.
