Details of the Job/Internship

Clariant is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with 8+ years of post-qualification experience to manage commercial contracts, NDAs, CDAs, and provide litigation support across India and global regions.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and finalize commercial contracts for India and international operations.
• Manage end-to-end execution of CDAs and NDAs across geographies.
• Ensure compliance and consistency in agreement management per legal and organizational standards.
• Advise business units and draft templates for commercial agreements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external parties for timely contract execution.
• Collaborate with external counsel for litigation support and case management.
• Track regulatory updates and assess business impact.
• Propose risk mitigation strategies for projects.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) or Master of Laws (LL.M) from a reputed university.
• Minimum 8+ years of post-qualification experience combining law firm and in-house corporate roles.
• Expertise in commercial contract management; experience in manufacturing or chemical industry preferred.
• Strong drafting, reviewing, negotiation, and litigation support skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to train and guide stakeholders.
