Details of the Job/Internship

Cloud Software Group is hiring a Legal Counsel with 4-6 years of experience to join their Bengaluru office onsite. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize India and multi-jurisdictional commercial contracts including vendor, customer, partnership, amendment agreements, and NDAs.
• Ensure contracts comply with organizational policies and laws.
• Advise and prepare bidding documents such as RFPs, RFQs, and MAF letters.
• Conduct extensive legal research and provide conclusions based on case law.
• Monitor adherence to local and international laws, industry regulations, and company policies.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and advise on their business impact.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities when necessary.
• Assist with entity management and compliance filings.
• Support strategic initiatives like mergers, acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and handle additional legal matters as assigned.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a reputed university; Master’s degree (LL.M) preferred.
• 4-6 years of relevant legal experience in corporate law, M&A, commercial law, contracts, Data Protection, GDPR, and privacy.
• Experience in MNC or law firm preferred.
• Preferred experience in IT/ITES sector.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
