Details of the Job/Internship

CNH is hiring a Lead Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel with 12–15 years of experience to join their legal department in Gurgaon. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Independently manage litigation strategy and execution, ensuring stakeholder interests are protected.
• Draft and review contracts, RFQs, legal notices, and advisory opinions for business leaders.
• Coordinate with lawyers, senior advocates, government agencies, and enforcement bodies.
• Represent the company in legal forums and regulatory offices alongside internal officials.
• Maintain legal MIS for litigation, payments, and timely reporting to stakeholders.
• Implement digital tools and processes to improve legal operations and awareness.
• Maintain physical and digital legal records.
• Preferably experienced in M&A, FIDIC Contracts, Data Privacy, Anti-Bribery, and Competition Law.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized institution.
• 12–15 years of blended experience in law firms and corporate legal departments.
• Industry preference: Automobile, Engineering, Infrastructure, or FMCG sectors.
• Expertise in criminal and civil law, contract law, employment, property, and recovery laws (NIA, IBC, SARFAESI), data privacy, and competition law.
