Details of the Job/Internship
CNH Industrial is hiring a Legal Counsel to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, vetting contracts, and negotiating terms while working closely with business teams.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and vet legal pleadings, communications, notices, etc.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including business meetings.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case notes and opinions.
- Represent the company in court or with law enforcement.
- Collaborate with external lawyers, senior advocates, experts, and government agencies.
- Work closely with the business team for smooth legal operations.
- Conduct legal awareness sessions for non-legal personnel.
- Assist in the company's digital transformation journey.
Eligibility
- Minimum 5 years PQE, with 2-3 years of practice as a lawyer in court.
- Maximum 10-15 years of experience, ideally in a corporate legal department.
- Preferred qualifications: Law Graduate (LL.B / LL.M), Company Secretary (CS) an added advantage.
Salary/Stipend
