Details of the Job/Internship
CNH Industrial is hiring for the position of Legal Counsel with 2-3 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet legal pleadings, notices, and official communications.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate commercial contracts; attend meetings with business stakeholders as needed.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case notes and legal opinions.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings and interface with law enforcement authorities.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel, senior advocates, experts, and government agencies.
- Collaborate with business teams to ensure smooth and compliant legal operations.
- Lead legal awareness and training sessions for non-legal employees.
- Support the company’s digital transformation initiatives from a legal perspective.
Eligibility
- Minimum: 5 years of post-qualification experience (including 2–3 years practicing in court).
- Preferred: 10–15 years of overall legal experience, including significant tenure within a corporate legal department.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law (LL.B / LL.M)
- Company Secretary (CS) qualification is an added advantage
- Substantive law, including criminal and civil procedural law
- Commercial contracts, property law, employment law, legal metrology, media and advertising regulations
- Exposure to IBC, data privacy, and competition law is highly preferred
