Details of the Job/Internship
Contract Bazaar is hiring for the position of Legal Counsel with 2-4 years of experience to join their office in Noida.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including service contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, and client contracts.
- Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure business practices and operations comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support and manage legal aspects of disputes, litigation, and arbitration.
- Conduct legal research to inform business decisions and policy development.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to assess legal risks and propose practical solutions.
- Stay informed on legal trends, particularly in commercial and contract law.
- Liaise with external legal counsel when required.
- Review and provide feedback on work produced by junior associates to maintain accuracy and legal soundness.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized institution.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in corporate law, contract management, or a related legal domain.
- In-depth understanding of commercial and contract law, with a strong grasp of regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to draft and negotiate contracts with precision and clarity.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Prior experience in a legal services firm or in-house legal department is preferred.
