Details of the Job/Internship

Curated Living Solutions is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 10+ years to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including property leases, vendor agreements, and procurement contracts.
• Provide legal support for new project and property launches, covering land titles, leasing matters, and local state permitting.
• Manage legal aspects of the workforce strategy, including employment contracts, contractor agreements, and agency manpower services.
• Ensure organizational compliance with labor laws, Shops & Establishments Act, RERA (as applicable), and hospitality-specific statutes.
• Advise business leaders on litigation exposure, regulatory changes, and strategic contract strategies to mitigate risk.
• Establish standard legal templates, SOPs, and internal policies for contracting and vendor engagement across the firm.

Eligibility

• Qualified lawyer with an LLB degree; an LLM or PG in Commercial/Corporate Law is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as an in-house lawyer or in a senior commercial legal role.
• Substantial exposure to the hospitality, real-estate, or start-up/scale-up sectors.
• Proven expertise in contract negotiation, manpower/agency contracts, and procurement operations.
• Experience working in a multi-location, dynamic environment with a strong sense of ownership and ethics.
