Curated Living Solutions is hiring a Legal Counsel with over 10 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, vendor/service agreements, property leases, procurement contracts, and outsourcing agreements.
• Provide legal support for project and property launches including land, lease, title matters, local compliance, permitting, construction contracts, and operational agreements.
• Manage employment contracts, contractor agreements, manpower/vendor agency contracts, ensuring alignment with workforce strategies and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, Shops & Establishments requirements, statutory registrations, real estate regulations, and hospitality-related statutes.
• Advise leadership and functional heads on risk, governance, regulatory changes, litigation exposure, and contract strategy.
• Establish and maintain legal templates, policies, and SOPs; conduct training for internal teams on key legal and risk aspects.
• Liaise with external counsel, manage law firms, and oversee legal costs and vendor relationships.
• Monitor intellectual property, brand/legal issues, data protection/privacy (if applicable), dispute resolution, and claims management.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, real estate, and operations teams to ensure legal strategy aligns with commercial goals, supporting business enablement.

Eligibility

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a legal counsel, in-house, or senior commercial legal role with exposure to hospitality, real estate, operations, start-ups, or scale-ups.
• Strong experience in contract negotiation, vendor services, procurement, manpower/agency contracts, and cross-functional advisory.
• Strong commercial orientation with solid legal fundamentals.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage multi-location and dynamic operating environments.
• LLB required; LLM or PG in Commercial/Corporate Law preferred.
• Strong ethics, integrity, ownership, and ability to build legal frameworks from scratch.

Salary/Stipend
