Details of the Job/Internship
Decklar is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 10+ years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate custom customer and partner contracts.
- Prepare and implement legal document templates, including NDAs and terms of use.
- Manage cap tables, ESOP agreements, share purchase agreements, and board resolutions.
- Oversee patent portfolio management, IP protection, and data privacy compliance across jurisdictions.
- Maintain and manage legal records for audits and governance requirements.
- Coordinate with global specialist law firms to manage litigation and arbitration matters.
- Train and mentor internal teams on record keeping, governance, and compliance practices.
Eligibility
- Law degree with a minimum of 10+ years of corporate law experience in a technology company.
- Experience in startups, contract lifecycle management, due diligence, and legal audits preferred.
- Exposure to working with global customers, teams, partners, and investors preferred.
