Details of the Job/Internship
Delhivery is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 5–8 years to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Developing a clear and quick understanding of business propositions, commercial models, and operational workflows.
- Independently advising business teams on legal, commercial, and regulatory implications of initiatives.
- Applying risk-based decision-making aligned with business objectives and scale.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including logistics, technology, SaaS, and service contracts.
- Handling high-stake negotiations with significant commercial exposure and long-term impact.
- Ensuring contracts accurately reflect business intent, operational realities, and risk allocation.
- Identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and latent risks in contractual frameworks.
- Advising on technology-enabled and SaaS business models, including APIs, data flows, SLAs, and integrations.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to provide business-friendly legal advice.
Eligibility
- L.B. or LL.B. with LL.M. from a recognised institution.
- Preference for candidates from an integrated 5-year law programme.
- 5–8 years of post-qualification experience in commercial contracting.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with a commercial mindset.
