Details of the Job/Internship

Dentsu India is hiring a Legal Counsel with 6-8 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice across commercial, employment, IP, data privacy, ethics, compliance, and GAI.
• Manage litigation and arbitration (civil, criminal, labour, property, and commercial disputes): review pleadings, prepare strategy, oversee filings, and monitor progress.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, ensuring favourable terms for Dentsu.
• Support employment law matters, including investigations and processes.
• Maintain trackers for litigation and compliance matters; prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with external counsel for urgent reliefs, pleadings, and opinions.
• Conduct legal research, case analysis, and develop arguments to guide proceedings.
• Deliver legal training, risk management sessions, and updates to leadership teams.
• Drive best practices in ethics, compliance, IP, contracts, data privacy, IT, litigation, M&A, and GAI.
• Advise on global and local data privacy regulations and ethical AI usage.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders on contracts, compliance, and risk matters.

Eligibility

• LL.B with 6–8 years PQE (in-house and/or law firm experience).
• Background in Media & Entertainment or IT industry preferred.
• Additional certifications in advertising, IP, data privacy, or compliance are an advantage.

Salary/Stipend
