Details of the Job/Internship
Dozee is hiring for the position of Legal Counsel with 6-8 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
Contract Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts with vendors, clients, channel partners, and strategic collaborators.
- Ensure contracts are legally sound and aligned with business objectives.
Regulatory Compliance
- Assist in ensuring compliance with Indian and US healthcare regulations, medical device laws, and industry standards (e.g., CDSCO, ISO, FDA).
- Monitor regulatory developments and support licensing, certifications, and audits.
Intellectual Property (IP)
- Support the management of Dozee’s IP portfolio — including patents, trademarks, and copyrights — in collaboration with external counsels and internal teams.
Dispute Resolution & Litigation Support
- Handle legal disputes, support external counsels, and represent company interests during litigation, arbitration, or settlement negotiations.
Corporate Governance
- Ensure compliance with statutory filings, board resolutions, and governance policies.
- Maintain corporate records and ensure regulatory reporting.
Legal Research & Advisory
- Conduct research on legal issues impacting the healthcare and medical device sectors.
- Provide clear and timely legal advice to business units.
Risk Management
- Identify potential legal risks in business operations and new initiatives.
- Recommend proactive risk mitigation strategies.
Training & Awareness
- Conduct internal training on topics like compliance, data protection, and intellectual property.
Eligibility
- LLB or equivalent from a reputed Indian law school.
- 6–8 years of corporate legal experience, preferably in the healthcare, medtech, or SaaS industries.
- Experience working with India and US regulatory frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, IP, data privacy, and healthcare compliance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- High ethical standards and strong professional integrity.
Salary/Stipend
