Details of the Job/Internship

DuPont India  is hiring for the position of Legal Counsel with 8-12 years of experience to join their Hyderabad office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to the Group operations in India including legal and risk analysis in complex and strategic matters 
• Provide guidance to management on business strategies and develop creative and workable solutions to business needs while mitigating risk in a constantly evolving industry; raise business’ awareness of legal issues and ensure early legal involvement 
• Draft, review and negotiate variety of contracts and legal documents
• Manage all litigation, dispute resolution, and any investigation and enquiries related to the business operations 
• Interact with External law firms for any legal matters
• Ensure implementation of Group Legal policies and procedures that comply with all relevant and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements 
• Collaborate with internal legal teams in other jurisdictions to ensure standardization and alignment on legal matters at Group level and support continuous improvement in that respect. 
• Advising the management on the M&A activities if any in India
• Driving the Ethics & Compliance for the region

Eligibility

• University degree in Law (LLB), plus, Company Secretary (ACS/FCS) - Qualified in India.
• Minimum 8-12 years of experience in legal profession and Company Secretarial matters, including knowledge & experience in a corporate legal function.
• Experience in dealing with and resolving litigation.
