Details of the Job/Internship
Enel Group is hiring a Legal Counsel with 5–6 years of experience to join their Gurgaon/Delhi office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal support to business development teams for greenfield projects including drafting JDAs, MOUs, permitting and approval agreements, term sheets, LOIs, and reviewing tender documents.
- Draft and negotiate contracts with procurement and engineering teams for large equipment purchases and EPC/BOP contracts.
- Handle related disputes, and advise on suspension or termination strategies.
- Support legal aspects of land and right-of-way issues during project development.
- Provide legal advisory to functions such as HR, compliance, regulatory, finance, and administration.
- Manage litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters in the energy sector.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree with 5–6 years of prior work experience.
- Experience with top law firms or energy companies in handling energy and infrastructure projects.
- Strong expertise in drafting contracts including NDAs, MOUs, JDAs, JVAs, SHAs, SPAs, EPC, and O&M agreements.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial contracts.
- Ability to work under time constraints and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with autonomy in execution.
