Enel Group is hiring for the position of Legal counsel with 5-6 years of experience to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal support on corporate and equity financing for renewable energy projects.
- Draft and negotiate procurement, EPC, O&M, and large equipment purchase contracts.
- Advise on disputes, terminations, or suspensions of contracts.
- Support legal aspects of land/right-of-way during project development.
- Assist business development teams with greenfield project agreements, MOUs, term sheets, and letters of intent.
- Review tender documents and support end-to-end tender submissions.
- Provide legal guidance to Commercial, HR, Compliance, Regulatory, Finance, and Administration functions.
- Handle litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters related to energy projects.
Eligibility
- 5–6 years of prior experience with top law firms or energy companies handling conventional and non-conventional energy projects and infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of commercial contracts (NDA, MOU, JDA, JVA, SHA, SPA, EPC, O&M Agreements).
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and in teams under tight deadlines.
