Details of the Job/Internship

Flipkart is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience in litigation and legal advisory to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle and advise on litigation matters including contractual disputes, labour and employment issues, contract compliance, and interpretation.
• Research laws and regulations in new business domains and advise on regulatory and legal risk mitigation.
• Draft and vet pleadings, notices, and replies.
• Spot legal risks and identify potential matters early.
• Manage critical and consumer litigation.
• Institutionalize best practices for litigation and documentation.
• Develop MRAs and litigation processes.
• Analyze legal policies, bills, and amendments.
• Represent corporate positions to regulators and external agencies.
• Build and manage relationships with external legal advisors.
• Handle arbitrations, internal investigations (PoSH, code of conduct), IT Act litigations, recovery matters, and criminal trials.
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies.
• Ensure effective litigation management and compliance.
• Work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Eligibility

• LLB/LLM from a reputed law college.
• In-house litigation experience in a reputed organization along with law firm experience is preferable.
• Experience in litigation, business advisory, and managing in-house processes.

Salary/Stipend
