Details of the Job/Internship

Freshworks is hiring a Legal Counsel – Commercial with 6  years of experience to join its Bengaluru office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including SaaS, reseller, channel, and professional services contracts.
• Manage complex negotiations with clients and vendors while ensuring compliance with global data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
• Develop and maintain standardized contract templates and legal playbooks.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams on cybersecurity, AI, and data privacy compliance.
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management on corporate governance and risk mitigation.
• Support global teams across multiple jurisdictions to streamline contracting and compliance processes.
• Improve internal legal workflows using CLM tools and automation systems.
