Details of the Job/Internship
Fuse Energy is hiring a Legal Counsel with 4–7 years of post-qualification experience to join their London office. The role involves supporting commercial, corporate, and regulatory workstreams, managing contracts, advising business teams, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions, and building scalable legal infrastructure in a fast-growing energy company.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs, MSAs, product order forms, and various commercial agreements.
- Identify risks and provide practical, business-oriented solutions.
- Translate legal and regulatory requirements into guidance for product development.
- Research regulatory frameworks and ensure product compliance.
- Provide day-to-day legal advice to Operations, Finance, Trading, and Product teams.
- Support UK and cross-border regulatory compliance, filings, and submissions.
- Maintain policies, registers, and training frameworks.
- Develop templates, clause libraries, playbooks, and best practices.
- Streamline workflows and automate routine legal processes.
Eligibility
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales or equivalent common law jurisdiction.
- 4–7 years of post-qualification experience with a mix of law firm and in-house exposure.
- Strong experience in commercial contracts and corporate law, with exposure to energy, technology, or financial services preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Interest in renewable energy, decentralisation, and technology-driven change.
Salary/Stipend
