Details of the Job/Internship

Fuse Energy is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 4–7 years to join their team in London. The role involves supporting commercial, corporate, and regulatory workstreams as the company expands across multiple jurisdictions. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate a high volume of NDAs, MSAs, product order forms, and supplier, customer, and technology agreements, while identifying risks and providing practical solutions.
• Translate legal and regulatory requirements into clear guidance for new product lines, research regulatory frameworks, and review product designs to ensure compliance and launch readiness.
• Provide day-to-day legal advice to Operations, Finance, Trading, and Product teams, simplifying complex issues and enabling efficient decision-making.
• Support UK and cross-border regulatory compliance, coordinate filings and submissions, and maintain policies, registers, and training to ensure inspection readiness.
• Develop and refine templates, clause libraries, playbooks, and best practices to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

Eligibility

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales or an equivalent common law jurisdiction.
• 4–7 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a combination of law firm and in-house exposure.
• Strong foundation in commercial contracts and corporate law; experience in energy, technology, or financial services is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated interest in renewable energy, decentralisation, and technology-driven innovation.

Salary/Stipend
