Details of the Job/Internship
G10X is hiring an Associate Legal Counsel with 4+ years of experience to join their office in Kochi (Work From Office). The role involves supporting commercial contract negotiations, managing legal risks, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations, particularly in technology, data protection, and employment matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including MSAs, licensing agreements, NDAs, MOUs, vendor agreements, SoWs, and SLAs.
- Identify, assess, and advise on legal and contractual risks.
- Ensure compliance with IT and data protection laws.
- Oversee cross-border legal and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with business, sales, procurement, and HR teams on legal queries and employment documentation.
- Develop and update internal legal policies, playbooks, and templates.
- Support dispute resolution, including drafting legal notices and maintaining litigation records.
- Maintain a contracts database and oversee execution, storage, and tracking of agreements.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments.
Eligibility
- Minimum 4 years of experience.
- Knowledge of IT and data protection laws, including GDPR and the Indian IT Act.
- Experience in commercial contracts, employment matters, and cross-border compliance.
- Strong drafting, reviewing, and negotiation skills.
