Details of the Job/Internship
Getinge is hiring a Legal Counsel with 7+ years of legal experience (5+ in-house) to provide strategic and practical legal advice, guidance, and support for its operations in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on legal support for corporate, governance, business, HR, finance, and commercial operations.
- Identify and advise on legal and regulatory risks, liabilities, and compliance issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, including supply, service, distribution, agency, licensing, confidentiality, clinical trial, grant, and other commercial contracts.
- Collaborate with global and regional legal teams to draft and revise contract templates and improve legal processes.
- Implement global processes for documentation, approvals, and reporting.
- Conduct legal training sessions and keep abreast of applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage litigation and disputes.
- Perform related duties and special projects as required.
Eligibility
- Law degree from a recognized institution.
- 7+ years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house role, with 5+ years in multinational in-house legal/compliance work.
- Experience in Life Sciences, Medical Devices, or Pharma sector preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and Hindi.
