Details of the Job/Internship
Getinge is hiring a Legal Counsel with 7+ years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal support for corporate, governance, HR, finance, and commercial affairs in India.
- Advise on legal and regulatory risks, liabilities, and transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate diverse agreements, including supply, distribution, licensing, confidentiality, and clinical trial agreements.
- Collaborate with global legal teams on contract templates and process improvements.
- Implement global processes for documentation, approvals, and reporting.
- Conduct training on legal topics for business teams.
- Stay updated on laws, regulations, and issues impacting the organization.
- Manage litigation and dispute matters.
- Handle special projects and related duties as required.
Eligibility
- Minimum 7 years of legal experience in a law firm and/or multinational company in life sciences, medical devices, or pharma.
- At least 5 years of in-house and compliance experience.
- Experience working with international operations and foreign ownership structures.
- Law degree from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and Hindi.
