Details of the Job/Internship

Gradiant India Private Limited is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 4–5 years to join their office in Chennai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review and draft various commercial contracts, including EPC and O&M (Operations and Maintenance) agreements.
• Handle legal documentation for teaming agreements, services agreements, employment contracts, NDAs, and lease agreements.
• Support the implementation of Group-wide governance and compliance policies within the Indian entity.
• Provide timely and practical legal advice on supply agreements, project communications, and general commercial transactions.
• Manage property, lease, and real estate legal matters for the organisation's facilities.
• Advise on employment-related legal issues and ensure adherence to global compliance standards.
• Conduct legal research to comprehend complex contractual provisions and identify issues for escalation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and business teams to resolve day-to-day legal queries efficiently.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputed institution.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an in-house or corporate legal environment.
• Sound legal understanding with the ability to research and interpret complex contractual clauses.
• Strong knowledge of EPC and O&M terms and conditions is a significant advantage.
• Excellent legal drafting, communication, and commercial awareness.
• Proven ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a global team.
• Preferred: Additional certifications in HR, corporate governance, or compliance.
