Details of the Job/Internship
GSK is hiring a Legal Counsel with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join its Legal Contracting Network at its Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous, high-quality contracting support to global business stakeholders.
- Draft, review, analyse, and negotiate commercial contracts.
- Advise on legal, regulatory, policy, and compliance issues related to transactions.
- Support supply chain contracting involving procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and development services.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with commercial contracts.
- Handle higher-complexity matters with guidance from senior legal colleagues when required.
- Conduct legal research and support due diligence activities.
- Monitor and interpret new or pending legislation impacting contracting activities.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, SOPs, templates, clauses, and playbooks.
- Communicate directly with procurement teams and participate in negotiations and projects.
- Mentor and support junior lawyers as part of the role.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal role.
- Relevant experience in commercial contracting preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to support global operations.
