Details of the Job/Internship
HCLTech is hiring for the position of Legal Counsel to join their office in Noida.
Role and Responsibilities
- Independently review, negotiate, and finalize IT contracts, including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Partner Agreements, Reseller Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and Rainmaker Agreements.
- Lead contract negotiations with internal and external parties, including customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Work closely with procurement, business, and delivery teams to ensure timely closure of transactions.
- Collaborate with other legal team members and provide guidance to junior lawyers.
- Prepare and present monthly reports on the contracts processed each month.
- Coordinate monthly cadence reporting and meetings with management, delivering presentations and training sessions as needed.
- Handle legal projects on an as-needed basis, as assigned by Senior Legal Counsels.
Eligibility
- Strong background in IT outsourcing contracts and various IT-related agreements.
- Proven track record in negotiating complex customer agreements.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with teams across different business units.
- Expertise in identifying and addressing commercial risks and exposures in contracts.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
