Details of the Job/Internship
Hitachi Energy is hiring a Junior Legal Counsel with 5 years of experience to join their Bengaluru office for a fixed term of 18 months.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist Regional and Country Heads of Legal in providing legal advice.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
- Support contract review, negotiation, and documentation.
- Participate in strategy development and corporate governance activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and group directives.
- Support Code of Conduct implementation and integrity training.
- Engage in due diligence and manage external counsel relationships.
- Participate in legal projects at local, regional, and global levels.
- Take part in continuous learning programs offered by the department.
Eligibility
- Graduate degree in Law.
- Minimum 5 years of legal experience.
- Licensed to practice law in India.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- High integrity and interest in legal technology and process improvement.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
