H&M Group is hiring a Legal Counsel – Expansion with at least 5 years of experience to join their office in Saket, New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Negotiate, draft, and review leases and other legal agreements.
- Conduct judicial enquiries, due diligence, and risk assessments.
- Set and enforce legal standards, templates, and strategies.
- Ensure due diligence of projects and safeguard company interests through legal mechanisms.
- Liaise with statutory, regulatory, and judicial authorities for approvals and risk mitigation.
- Oversee litigation management and legal defense actions.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory developments.
- Collaborate with the Expansion team, including Lease Managers and other Legal Counsels.
Eligibility
- LLB or LLM degree with at least 5 years of experience in real estate law.
- Experience in an external law firm or as in-house counsel.
- Knowledge of employment, company, and contract law preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and open to change.
- Team player with integrity and a growth mindset.
