Details of the Job/Internship

ICON plc is hiring for the position of Legal Counsel with experience of 1-3 years to join their Bengaluru office. 

Role and Responsibilities

1. The successful applicant will be part of a global legal team that supports the negotiation of clinical trial contracts with healthcare institutions and healthcare professionals across the world.
2. The candidate will provide legal support to ICON and its clients’ clinical operations and Study Start-Up teams in relation to all legal aspects of the setup of new global clinical trial studies.
3. It is likely that the candidate will begin the role focusing on Asia-Pacific contracts, and then develop and take on experience and responsibility for global contracts.

Eligibility

1. LLB or equivalent law degree.
2. Qualified lawyer (1-3 years PQE)Commercial contract review and drafting experience working in-house or for a law firm, pharma/CRO experience preferred.
3. Ambition to grow within the ICON legal team over time.
4. Possesses strong negotiation, diplomacy, and excellent organizational ability.
5. Great teammate and relationship builder with strong intrapersonal, communication, organization,  and time management skills.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
