Details of the Job/Internship

iDestiny is hiring a Legal Counsel with 1–3 years of experience to join its office in Kolkata. The role involves handling consumer forum cases, coordinating with law enforcement agencies, drafting and reviewing legal documents, maintaining case records, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies.

Role and Responsibilities

• Represent the company in consumer forum cases, including documentation, liaising with counsel, and attending hearings.
• Coordinate with law enforcement agencies for FIRs and follow-ups on criminal matters.
• Draft, review, and vet tenancy agreements, MOUs, and other legal documents.
• Maintain case records, legal correspondence, and filing systems.
• Support senior legal team members in litigation strategy and case preparation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and internal policies.
• Liaise with internal departments to address legal queries and provide operational guidance.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized institution; enrollment with the Bar Council preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in litigation and corporate legal work.
• Experience in consumer forum cases and related proceedings.
• Familiarity with criminal complaint procedures and FIR registration.
• Basic knowledge of tenancy and property-related agreements.
• Strong research, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.

Salary/Stipend
