Details of the Job/Internship
IDFC FIRST Bank is hiring a Senior Manager – Legal Litigation to join their Legal Department in Mumbai. The role requires the ability to guide internal stakeholders on risks and mitigants while entering partnerships and ventures, and to safeguard the Bank’s interests during documentation, execution, and post-execution checks. The candidate should have hands-on experience in drafting and negotiating IT and service contracts.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advisory on legislative and regulatory expectations to Shared Services business units, particularly IT & ISG.
- Coordinate and collate ad-hoc or indent requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders, especially in IT & ISG.
- Review policies, SOPs, and manuals from a legal advisory perspective in line with evolving jurisprudence and regulatory expectations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts including:
- Software Agreements
- Hardware Purchase Agreements
- Multimedia Agreements
- Services Agreements/Engagement Letters
- Training, Events and Sponsorship Agreements
- Renewals/Amendments/Schedules
- Termination Letters/Novation
- NDAs.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s in Law (LL.B).
- Master’s in Law (LL.M).
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
