Infosys is hiring a Commercial Contracts Counsel with 3–8 years of experience to manage complex IT commercial contracts governed by various European laws.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review complex commercial IT contracts, including IT outsourcing, service, alliance, subcontracting, and license agreements.
- Review proposals and RFPs, assist in preparing responses, and provide support during proposal processes.
- Participate in negotiations with customers and vendors across Europe, ensuring compliance with internal contracting policies and risk mitigation requirements.
- Analyze legal and commercial risks, and present recommendations to business teams and senior management.
- Act as the local interface to the global legal team for corporate compliance and advisory matters.
- Track relevant European laws and regulations impacting business and policies.
- Share knowledge about local laws and business trends with the global legal community.
Eligibility
- LLB or equivalent law degree; LLM preferred.
- 3–8 years of experience handling high-value, complex, multi-layered transactions.
- Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent English proficiency, both written and spoken, preferably with international exposure.
- Knowledge of common law principles and European laws is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
- Open to travel within Europe for client meetings and negotiations.
- Basic litigation knowledge is desirable.
