Details of the Job/Internship

Infosys is hiring a Legal Counsel with a minimum of 6 years of experience to join its Legal team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead the drafting, review, and redlining of commercial contracts, particularly Statements of Work, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk mitigation.
• Mentor and guide junior lawyers, ensuring high-quality contract management and professional development.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including delivery, finance, sales, and other teams for comprehensive contract review.
• Summarize key contractual terms in clear, business-friendly language for internal stakeholders.
• Conduct post-execution onboarding sessions and workshops to explain contractual obligations and expectations.
• Support ongoing contract compliance, including obligation tracking, renewals, and audits.
• Participate in governance meetings to monitor contract performance and identify legal or operational risks.
• Proactively identify potential legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Support the implementation and effective use of Contract Lifecycle Management systems and related legal tools.

Eligibility

• Law graduate or post-graduate from a premier university.
• LLB degree is mandatory.
• Minimum 6 years of full-time experience in a relevant domain.

Salary/Stipend
