Details of the Job/Internship
Intellect Design Arena Ltd is hiring a Legal – IT Contracts Specialist to join their office in Chennai to manage technology-related contracts, negotiations, and compliance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate IT and commercial contracts, including Master Service Agreements, SaaS and cloud agreements, vendor and outsourcing contracts, NDAs, and data protection agreements.
- Provide legal support on technology transactions, including software licensing, implementation, and support agreements.
- Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, including data privacy and information security regulations.
- Identify legal risks and provide practical solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams for contract lifecycle management.
- Support RFPs, bid documents, and client negotiations.
- Maintain contract templates, playbooks, and standard clauses.
- Stay updated on evolving legal and regulatory requirements in the IT and fintech space.
Eligibility
- LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
- 5–10 years of experience in IT contracts, technology law, or commercial contracts.
- Strong understanding of IT services, software agreements, data protection laws, and intellectual property rights.
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
