Details of the Job/Internship

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Legal Counsel in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The ideal candidate should have 6-10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).

Role and Responsibilities

• Offer legal counsel and strategic support to Medical Devices operations and Franchise leaders.
• Develop and implement legal strategies for Go-To-Market models and new product introductions.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, industry codes, and corporate policies (e.g., FCPA, Code of Business Conduct).
• Manage litigation, dispute resolution, and internal/external investigations.
• Oversee contract negotiations, M&A transactions, and licensing deals in coordination with global teams.
• Engage and manage external legal counsel efficiently within set budgets.
• Provide training on legal policies and drive cross-sector alignment within J&J legal teams.
• Advise on advertising, marketing materials, and internet-related activities.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or LL.M. from a reputed university in India.
• 6–10 years PQE, preferably with experience in multinational corporations or the healthcare industry.
• Strong corporate advisory experience, particularly in senior leadership counsel.
• Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken).
