Kantar is hiring a Legal Counsel with 5+ years of experience to support its India business, including Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Role and Responsibilities
- Act as a proactive legal partner, advising on commercial and contracting issues.
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements with international and regional clients and suppliers.
- Analyse legal and commercial risks and resolve day-to-day legal queries.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships as a trusted legal advisor.
- Contribute to developing legal templates, playbooks, and ways of working.
- Drive organisational alignment on privacy, IP, AI, and governance across commercial contracts and operations.
Eligibility
- LLB and/or relevant degree with 5+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house, specialising in commercial transactions.
- Strong drafting and negotiation capabilities with stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of data privacy preferred, with willingness to learn.
- Commercial awareness and ability to provide practical legal guidance.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while handling multiple projects.
- Passion for personal development and continuous improvement.
