Details of the Job/Internship

Kent is hiring a Legal Counsel with 4–7 years of post-qualification experience to join their team in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop standardized commercial contract templates and streamline legal processes.
• Draft, review, and negotiate diverse contracts including client and supplier agreements.
• Support tender pursuits and qualify documentation for EPC, PMC, and other project types.
• Manage pre-litigation and formal disputes.
• Stay updated on legislation and industry standards.
• Provide strategic legal advice on risk and compliance.
• Integrate AI and other tech solutions to enhance contract workflows.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on bidding and contracting strategies.
• Travel occasionally if required.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized university.
• PQE: 4–7 years.
• Experience with EPC, FIDIC, or similar contracts preferred.
• Prior experience in a law firm or in-house legal department desirable.
