Details of the Job/Internship

Kia India is hiring a Legal Counsel with experience of 9 to 14 years to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to the various internal departments- Work with other in-house counsels and outside counsels, as required.
• Negotiate and draft complex transactional agreements.
• Taking preemptive measures to avoid legal risks and conflicts.
• Litigation – Consumer; IPR; Property; Recovery etc.
• External Lawyers – Co-ordination with external counsels.
• Case Management.
• Management Reporting; Feedback from concerned business teams etc.
• Contract Management - Drafting; Reviewing and Negotiating Contracts.
• Should be well versed in customs-related laws and DRI-related investigation.
• Should be well versed in laws and regulations and should be able to tender opinion/advice on a day-to-day basis, related to manufacturing and Sales related issues.

Eligibility

• LLB / LLM.
• 9 to 14 + years' legal work experience.
• Experience in Manufacturing sector will be an added advantage.

Salary/Stipend
